At the Bible Institute, it is our mission to equip the church to fulfill the Great Commission. For this reason we see it as essential that our courses be as accessible as possible to Christians from many different contexts.
We strongly recommend the benefits of studying full-time. However, in line with global trends in education, it has also been our aim to make theological training available beyond the traditional classroom context, in order to accommodate students who, because of time commitments or other constraints, might otherwise be hindered from studying.
Applicants may choose from the following study options:
These on-campus programmes include certificate, degree and post-graduate options, all of which programmes of the North-West University (NWU) are offered at BISA as a NWU off-campus learning centre. Students may also enroll on a part-time basis for on-campus courses.
Designed for pastors and church leaders in the Cape Town community, who have not yet had formal theological training, or who would like a refresher course, the CLP is a three-year programme consisting of evening classes and Saturday seminars.
Students who are prevented by time constraints and/or distance, from studying on campus, may choose between degree or diploma options through our Distance programme. The degree is offered in conjunction with NWU.
