Student accommodation is available at the Bible Institute of South Africa.
We have separate residences for male and female students.
Most rooms are shared, but single rooms may be arranged, subject to availability.
We need to say it upfront - student rooms are just that - student rooms. They are clean but without frills. Each room has a sea or a mountain aspect. Bathrooms are shared. There is a shared girl-guy common room with wide screen TV and space to work when the library closes at night.
No cooking is allowed in the Residences but a fully fitted kitchen is available for student use with cookers, fridges, crockery and utensils (and students, let us not forget the washing-up facilities)
Breakfast is self provided but a cooked meal (generous portions) is served each weekday during the term at lunchtime. The students often club together and share shopping & cooking their evening and weekend meals. The kitchen has ample refigeration and food storage space.
Wi-Fi is available for ipads, notebooks and devices. Parking on campus is plentiful and the block is secured by gating with electronic access.
The Bible Institute has a few flats (apartments) on campus. These occasionally become available for married students and preference is given to staff or more senior students. The flats are self-contained, comprising kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom.
The Principal, several lecturers and staff live on the premises with their families - BISA is your home away from home, especially for students from overseas.
The BISA campus is flanked by mountain and sea with a 5 -minute walk to the Kalk Bay railway station and a 2-minute walk to the harbour.

The college has an asphalt tennis court as well as two fairly large stretches of lawn for volley-ball, while table tennis is another popular activity. The mountain and beaches on the doorstep might entice you to try trail running, hiking, cycling, swimming and surfing.
