                                             The Shield

Refers to the shield of faith in Ephesians 6:10-18, in particular vs 16: “In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.” (ESV)

                                        The Open Book

Represents the College’s location, by the sea, in Kalk Bay, Cape Town. Figuratively, this also represents the access that BISA has to other parts of the world, not just Africa.
