Support a Student studying at the Bible Institute

student collage alex to Moyisis 2 NEW

At the Bible Institute we encourage our students to come to college with the full support of their local church. However in parts of our continent, because of poverty, disease and war, the church’s resources are small and often directed to home needs. We believe that this should not deter the keen and qualified student from pursuing theological studies. Some of our students have worked diligently to raise their own college fees, whilst others have been responsible for raising families at home before coming to college, and consequently have limited resources available to pay for their studies.

As a general rule we do not offer financial assistance to first year students. We would hope that they come with the endorsement and support of the local church wherever possible, and we would like to see evidence of a willingness to contribute towards their own expenses. Time and again we are amazed at the Lord’s provision for our students who are called to study at BI, and we stand with them in prayer for raising support.

We are committed to offering excellent training to every student, and we have a track record of assisting needy, senior students upon whom the Lord has placed a call to Ministry. Because the Bible Institute is not denominationally based and our lecturers are self-supported, we can only offer student bursaries with the help of our supporters.

Support the College as we train the Students

The Bible Institute is a non-denominational faith-based theological college. The faculty are entirely dependent on the Lord’s provision to meet their needs, recognising that He will enable His people to help support the work that they feel called to do. Since 1923 the Lord has been faithfully and graciously upholding the staff and their families as they train men and women for ministry and mission.

Your greatest gift woud be to pray for us. We would love to send you prayer pointers from time to time via email. snail mail, or even by phone. In a practical way there's plenty to do at the college for someone who has time such as establishing and managing a veggie garden, and helping in the library or with the monthly mailings.

If you would like to support the college in any of these ways, we’d love to hear from you.
